Uddeholms Hotell has set out two different tours. The first is called the "History tour", the second is called the "Nature tour".

Hagfors is known for its beauty of nature. The surrounding offers everything people seek for, beautiful lakes, perspectives, rich flora and fauna and the beauty of the restful peace ness of one of Sweden's biggest rivers, the Klarälven, flowing through this landscape. Furthermore the region has an interesting and rich history. Hagfors is an early industrial area, mainly caused by the Uddeholms company, the former business that owned more than half of the Värmland county and that was established in Uddeholm, Uddeholms company has, as employer, always been responsible for a brought variety of social classes, from rich to very poor, from labourer to director, with immigration to the region for centuries from Finland, Belgium, Netherlands en Norway. The combination of the beautiful surrounding with the richness in history has been the base of the "History tour", which leads you in a pleasant way along many historical places. It is not our intention to make you an expert about the events of the past, furthermore it is our intention to let you enjoy everything Hagfors has to offer, to lead you away from the major roads and to let you fall in love with this beautiful community.

The "History tour" can perfectly be combined with the comfort of staying and sleeping in the hotel, because it can be split into three parts, each for about one day, and coming close by the hotel.

The "Nature tour" leads you to the most beautiful places we have to offer, along many lakes, to a desolat place where the road doesn't go further, you will see where the best salmon of Sweden come's from, and you will hopefully see but will certainly learn a lot about wildlife in this area.

Those who have composed these tours have enjoyed this very much, hopefully as much as you will enjoy it making these tours.
