The initiative for setting out these hiking and other tours and for this website was taken by Uddeholms Hotell and Rådastrand camping, both situated along the Råda lake.
Both camping and hotel are a perfect starting point for many hours of walking, canoeing, cycling and even car tours. In Winter the hotel is a perfect base for those who love going out for cross country skiing.
The history of this area goes back to 17th century. Many of the tours lead you not only through the beautiful nature but also passed fascinating industrial heritage.
